Johnbrace.com was started in October 2010 as a political blog covering Wirral Council politics. Wirral is a peninsula of around 320,000 people in NW England between Wales and Liverpool.
Run by two people, we film public meetings, write about them and upload the video footage for people to watch on Youtube.
The blog (in March 2017) had 32,312 visitors (7,383 unique) viewing 118,189 page views.
Facebook page (only recently started) has 44 likes
The associated Twitter page has 1,191 followers
We publish an average of 2 articles a week (plus an average of 11 hours of video on an associated Youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/level80/ ) and cover local government from the local council to the county (Merseyside) level.
Advertising revenue comes from advertising on the Youtube videos and advertising on the blog.
